Introduction

Ir. Prof. Dr. CHUNG Boon-Kuan received a B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya in 1992. From 1992 to 1995, he was with the R&D Department of Sony Electronics in Penang, Malaysia where he worked on the design and development of portable radio-cassette player, mini Hi-Fi, and Sony Discman. He then returned to the University of Malaya to undertake a Microwave Remote Sensing research and received the M.Eng.Sc degree in 1997. He received a Ph.D from Multimedia University in 2003 following his research into the Modelling, Design and Construction of a Multipurpose Anechoic Chamber. He is currently a Professor at the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of University Tunku Abdul Rahman. He is also the Chairman of Centre for Communication Systems and Networks at the University. His research interests include microwave theory and techniques, antenna design, radar system, RCS calibrations, remote sensing, electromagnetic compatibility, wireless communication systems, and electronic instrumentation and measurements. Prof. Chung is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM), and a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM).
