I am currently looking for motivated Bachelor, Master and Phd students who are interested to work in quantitative mathematical modelling for medical imaging. The projects involve dealing with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data for application in acute stroke and brain tumour diagnosis. Besides that, I am also interested in non-contact vital sign monitoring and error control coding.

Interested students can download the following documents for more details about some of the proposed projects:

Project 1 - Quantitative Analysis of Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) MRI Data to Improve Stroke Diagnosis

Project 2 - Investigating the Repeatability and Reproducibility of Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) Imaging in Healthy Subjects across Multiple Time Points

Project 3 - Analysis and Visualization of Small Temporal Variations in Video to Review Physiological Signal for Biomedical Application

Project 4 - Audio recovery via subtle vibrations in the video: a feasibility study of “visual” microphone
(A fully-funded master scholarship is available for suitable candidate, please email me for the details.)
